To my good fortune, I was one of the lucky Influensters that were selected to receive the Mary Kay VoxBox with the Starlet On-The-Go Kit to review.  I got a Mary Kay Lash Primer, a Lash Love Lengthening Mascara (Black), a Cream Eye Color (Violet Storm), a Cream Eye Color/Concealer Brush, and a True Dimensions Lip Stick (Pink Cherie).  Although I use Mary Kay products, I had never tried the five products that were inside my goodie box so I was thrilled to get to try them.

The Lash Primer is the first product I played with.  This goes on as a clear coat  that I applied after curling my lashes before mascara.  I noticed this product does help give more volume to lashes than without, which I am always excited to see.  It retails for $15.00

The Lash Lengthening Mascara had an exceptional design with its angled, rubber-like wand that could swoop in to coat basically all the lashes at once.  Though this is a somewhat drier formula, I thought it did a fabulous job of pumping up my lashes without clumping.   I didn't need a second or a third coat and loved the look of my longer, more ample black lashes.  Though this is not a waterproof formula, it held up without flaking, smudging, or causing my sensitive, allergy-prone eyes any irritation.  This mascara sells for $15.00.

The Cream Eye Color is a smoldering deeper plum-violet shade in the container.  This shadow has a wonderful texture that enhanced further using the Mary Kay Cream Eye Color/Concealer Brush, with the perfect type of bristles for blending a cream shadow or the consistency of concealer.  The Cream Color shadow retails for $14.00 while the Cream Eye Color/Concealer Brush sells for $10.00.

I must admit I was rather surprised to see the shadow transform into a lighter version of this violet shade upon application.  Though it was different from what I expected, I thought the resulting hue flattered my brown eyes nicely.  Furthermore, I wasn't wearing any primer and this shadow help up for hours without any creasing problem!

As to the True Dimensions Lip Stick, Pink Cherie is a beautiful, smooth textured, medium rosy-pink that made my lips bloom with happy color and moisture.  The way to open this slim tube was usual and a bit more complicated  than most since you had to press down the clear section at the top before the lipstick could come free.   This lipstick goes for $18.00.  Nine other shades are also available.

I really thought everything I tried performed wonderfully and suited my light coloring and dark eyes exquisitely.  My favorite product was a tie between the Lash Lengthening Mascara and Cream Eye Color because they were excellent in my opinion.

Now that I have discovered these new products, I know I will be restocking and trying more in the future.  Do visit  Mary Kay and look into these cosmetics because I know you would probably love them just as much once you experienced them firsthand.
