Pamper Yourself With My Soothing Homemade Milk Bath Recipe!

Milk is a healthy drink for your body and a wonderful help for your skin.

Milk has plenty of value when consumed as a beverage.  After all, it has nine essential nutrients that include protein, calcium, potassium, vitamin A, D, B-12, niacin, riboflavin, and phosphorus to fuel and repair the body. But, milk can also do a body good from the outside as a fabulous way to soothe and effectively moisturize dry skin.

The lactic acid in milk helps exfoliate and clean as you soak while its fat and protein are what makes the skin supple and silky.

At the same time, this wonderful recipe that I want to share will help relieve itching, which can be especially a problem for many during colder weather.

Yet, my recipe also has an aromatherapy benefit.  Soaking in this milk bath after a stressful day can also help with relaxation since it contains lavender essential oil.

I do hope you try this because it does the trick for improving both the condition of your skin and mental state!

My Soothing Milk Bath Recipe

1 cup of powdered milk
½ cup of Epsom salts
3/4 tablespoon of baking soda
1-1/2 teaspoons of cornstarch
4 drops of lavender essential oil

Milk all the ingredients together before adding to your tub for a leisurely soak.
