If You Have Difficulty Falling Asleep, Try My DIY Sleep Spray!

Hopefully now, this beauty will make it to bed for a more restful sleep.

Sometimes, it’s hard to fall asleep.  For those times, I turn to this wonderful recipe that helps induce sleep through aromatherapy and its relaxing blend of lavender and chamomile essential oils along with rosewater for doing the trick.

This spray won’t magically make you sleep, but once you spray a little of its soothing aroma, it has a very calming effect.  Before you know it, you do feel more in the mood to drift off.

Though most sprays on this order are misted on your pillow, I preferred just spraying myself instead, especially on the wrists and cleavage area because there are oils that can stain, but last nicely on the skin for keeping the scent going.

I hope restless nights aren’t a problem for you.  Just in case, this recipe possibly can help you too.

My DIY Sleep Spray

6 teaspoons of grapeseed oil
6 teaspoons of almond oil
3 teaspoons of rosewater
4 teaspoons of jojoba oil
22 drops of lavender essential oil
20 drops of camomile essential oil

Mix the grapeseed, almond, jojoba oils and rosewater together first before stirring in the remaining essential oils.

Once mixed through, transfer into a clean small spray bottle.

Make sure to shake well before spraying.
